 What is Sculptra?

Sculptra® Aesthetic is an FDA-approved injectable that works to replace lost collagen in the skin gradually. This injectable helps to address any concerns of aging. The results from Sculptra begin to appear after treatment and may last up to two years. This injectable is naturally absorbed in the body over time.

What Areas Does It Help? 

When the face begins to dull and volume is lost, Sculptra can help plump the sunken, hollow areas of the face and restore them to a youthful appearance. Some areas of the face that this injection can treat are in the following areas:

 How Does It Work?

When getting a Sculptra treatment, patients can expect to get multiple injections during their appointment. The Sculptra treatment is injected into the skin to help diminish the appearance of wrinkles. One of the ingredients in the treatment, Poly-lactic acid, PLLA, will stimulate collagen in the face, allowing the skin to have a younger, fuller appearance. As previously stated, we recommend multiple treatments over a three to four-month period.

When in office, after a thorough cleanse, Dr. Davis will map multiple points out on the face where injections will take place. She will then apply topical numbing cream to help with any discomfort that the treatment may create. Injections will then begin into mapped-out areas. Normal activities can resume after treatment. However, please listen to any instructions we may provide before, during, and after your appointment
